Sometimes, however, it’s well worth it to get together in actual reality. That’s why we’re thrilled to sponsor LawTech Silicon Valley on October 7 and to meet legal professionals who are tackling some of the practice challenges we’re addressing with Everlaw. We’re particularly excited to host a dynamic panel on using modern technology to develop an earlier and deeper understanding of your case: What is Your Case Really About, and What is at Stake?
Ours isn’t the only panel, however. The event features seven panels throughout the day, and we’re curious to see what law firm partners, technologists, and legal tech experts have to say. Here are a few of the speakers we’re most excited about:
- Brendan Cullen, a partner at Sullivan & Cromwell, will discuss how to effectively manage the growing volume of data in litigation. Brendan has litigated matters ranging from complex securities to intellectual property and antitrust as a partner in Sullivan Cromwell’s Litigation Group.
- Legal technology market expert Michael Krieger will explore how to use technology to improve productivity without adding to IT overhead. Michael has a 40+ year IT career, and he has experience as developer, CIO, product manager, and now as technology marketing analyst and consultant.
- Shana E. Scarlett, a partner at Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro, will be speaking on our panel exploring technologies that help attorneys to quickly and efficiently get to the heart of their case, providing their clients and the court with clear case summaries, strategies, and valuations. Shana focuses her practice on representing plaintiffs in complex litigation, primarily in the areas of antitrust and unfair competition.
